Guppy & Me Camp takes place both in and out of the pool. Campers should arrive to Nancy Lewis Park ready to play and enjoy the outside, no matter what the weather is doing. Dress appropriately for the temperature, sun, etc. Shaded areas will be available, but we will be in the sun, and grass. Adults may want to wear swimwear underneath clothing, as we will head to the pool and transition straight into the water. There will be time to change your littles (and yourself). Campers will need to bring the following:

  1. Weather appropriate clothing for 50 minutes at the park. Bring your own sunscreen, hats, jackets, etc. Whatever you need to be comfortable to play outside.
  2. Towel - you will want a towel for yourself and your little when getting out of the pool. Little Fins does not provide towels.
  3. Swim diaper - children not potty trained will be REQUIRED to wear a Splash About Happy Nappy swim diaper. These swim diapers are the best we have found on the market. We are happy to show you a sample. Please read our Swim Diaper Policy prior to attending classes. If your child needs ear plugs, please bring your own, we do not have any available.
  4. Goggles & Swim Caps - we recommend that swimmers do not wear goggles until they are "water safe," but you can bring them if you want. Due to Little Fins goggle policy, we do not have goggles available to share. Swim caps are not required. We have goggles & swim caps available for purchase, if needed.
  5. Water & Snacks - Water bottle is highly recommended. This camp involve physical activity and swimming. We will take water breaks.
